Christopher Thomas Thompson, who turns 59 today, has been charged with two felony counts each of reckless driving causing injury, battery with serious bodily injury and the special allegation of causing great bodily injury, the DA's office says. Thompson was the driver on Mandeville Canyon Road who, in a dispute with bicyclists, allegedly stopped short and caused one rider to go through the rear window of Thompson's Infiniti and other rider to crash onto the pavement. All an unfortunate accident, says Thompson's lawyer. LAT
