Steve Lowery's resignation as editor of CityBeat was accepted today and — one week after the she joined the paper — Rebecca Schoenkopf was named acting editor. (I reported the backstory on all this last Friday.) The paper is proceeding toward a mid-June relaunch into a publication with more of a magazine sensibility, Publisher Charles Gerencser told me today.
