Just fyi, this is the day that heart surgery is scheduled at Children's Hospital for Davik Teng, the 9-year-old girl from rural Cambodia who was brought to the U.S. by Hearts Without Borders, a group started by NBC newsman Peter Chhun. The Press-Telegram went to Cambodia to chronicle the efforts to get her into surgery, which included a fundraiser last week at Lincoln Elementary School in Long Beach.
