Sam Zell is in town
This is the day Sam Zell is scheduled to stop in at the L.A. Times offices. He's due at First and Spring for an hour from 9:30, at the Olympic printing plant downtown at 11:30 and at what remains of the LAT's presence in Orange County at 2:30. His appearance in the main offices will be beamed to bureaus in Washington, New York and a few other places.
