New York Times

Gawker versus Sharon Waxman

Gawker says that New York Times Hollywood writer Sharon Waxman will go on book leave this summer then be reassigned off the beat and probably out of the L.A. bureau. Gawker's Doree Shafrir frames the rotation in the context of the 45 corrections (out of 385 bylines) run on Waxman articles since she came over from the Washington Post in 2003. Noted: Anne Thompson of Variety and Nikki Finke get confirmation from Waxman and go deeper into the details.
