Union Station was closed for 90 minutes yesterday, disrupting transit and restaurant plans, while sheriff's deputies looked for a stolen suitcase being used in a training exercise. A transient reportedly walked off with the suitcase, which contained a piece of an explosive device in an exercise for bomb-sniffing dogs. LAT
