Huntington gets La Opinión files

La Opinión and the Huntington Library announced today that the newspaper's archives are moving to San Marino. Photographs, newspapers, memorabilia, awards and original documents from the first eighty years of La Opinión will be housed in the Huntington's Munger Research Center. "This is a wealth of information defining the history of Los Angeles and California for more than 80 years. Scholars and students affiliated with our new Huntington-USC Institute on California and the West along with many others will benefit richly from being able to conduct their research using this new collection," Huntington president Steven S. Koblik says in the release.
