Suns take commanding 4-3 edge

NashIf there's one good thing to come from the Lakers' week-long meltdown and inevitable loss in Saturday's deciding game, perhaps it will be a permanent moratorium on sportswriters using the phrase commanding three games to one lead any time a team in any sport gets out in front of a playoff series. If you missed it, after blowing games five and six Kobe and his supporting cast fell meekly to the Phoenix Suns 121-90 in game seven. ESPN credits the Suns with "one of the most impressive turnarounds in NBA playoff history." They face the Clippers in the second round beginning Monday night in Phoenix.
