Arianna Huffington told magazine editors in New York today that the Huffington Post makes money and within two months will spin off a sister site devoted to political satire. Even her celebrity bloggers at the Huff Post must correct mistakes within twenty-four hours or lose their privileges, she said—disclosing that Larry David dictates his blog items from the set of "Curb Your Enthusiam" and Arthur Schlesinger faxes them in. She also was full of advice for editors about getting their publications online, advising them to attend blogger parties to find online talent. But she warns, "blogger parties are not glamorous." The editors are gathered in NYC for tonight's awarding of the National Magazine Awards.
