City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo's quest to become the attorney general of California just isn't picking up much momentum. The Field Poll out today shows former governor Jerry Brown with a 59%-18% lead among likely voters in the June 6 Democratic primary. That's a gap of 41 points—the largest margin in any of the races Field polled on—with only 23% of the voters calling themselves undecided. Statewide, two-thirds of likely primary voters say they have no opinion of Delgadillo. That, at least, may help him if he can exploit the 35% who say they come in with an unfavorable opinion of Brown (compared to 45% favorable.)
Prospects are rocky
