Kyle Ballard was jogging with other Pasadena PD officers at the Rose Bowl Friday morning when he collapsed. The Pasadena Weekly has posted a web story saying that paramedics on the scene could not revive Ballard and he died at Huntington Hospital. Ballard, 30, leaves a wife and three sons. Police in neighboring San Gabriel and Alhambra offered to help staff patrols this weekend so Pasadena officers could take some time off.
