New era at blogging.la

Blogging.la and the rest of the Metroblogging empire this afternoon unveiled a thorough redesign. Gray shades, bigger pictures and bolder text are among the visual changes, plus there are new functions and mobile pages. Note the name change: the site now goes by Metroblogging Los Angeles. (Nope, still blogging.la—the rotating banner just calls out Los Angeles to help orient visitors from other Metroblogging cities.)
