Race and the LAPD

Longtime L.A. scribe Jan Golab, author of the 1993 book The Dark Side of the Force: A True Story of Corruption & Murder in the LAPD and a writer for the righty website Front Page Magazine, argues in the new issue of The American Enterprise that the quality of the LAPD has been done in by racial political correctness. He blames efforts to diverify the force and "appease racial activists" for troubles such as the Rampart scandal. Also showing up in the new American Enterprise is Daily News editorial writer Chris Weinkopf, writing a "Beat the Press" column on blogs and the resignation of CNN's Eason Jordan.
