Terrorist groups such as Hezbollah and Hamas have raised an estimated $20-30 million a year selling counterfeit merchandise in the U.S., much of it here in Los Angeles, Sheriff's Lt. John Stedman and others told the Senate Homeland Security Committee today. "While the evidence so far is almost entirely anecdotal," the Times reports, Stedman testified "...there are mounting indicators of the involvement of terrorist groups and their supporters."
