Swallowed by Corbis

The Beverly Hills-based Roger Richman Agency Inc., which represents deceased figures such as Albert Einstein, Sigmund Freud, the Marx Brothers, Steve McQueen and Vivien Leigh for licensing purposes, was bought by Corbis Corp. Terms were not disclosed, but the Reuters story says that Richman will continue with Corbis as a consultant. Corbis, the commercial photo archive started by Bill Gates, is looking to enhance its stock of photos with licensing rights to dead celebrities and historical figures.
