LA Observed

State of the blog

L.A.O. logoJust got a look at the March stats, and it pleases me to be able to say that L.A. Observed set new highs across the board: for visits, unique visitors, pages served and hits. Thanks to everyone for reading and coming back every day. The most clicked-on news item last month was the abrupt departure of Times publisher John Puerner, reported here before any other media. With 296,007 pages viewed during the month, prospective sponsors might want to grab a prominent spot, before the rate goes up. The ever-growing traffic is eating up bandwidth — a record 21.62 gigabytes — so voluntary subscriptions via the Paypal button on the right are also more valuable than ever. Thanks again to all of you who have helped keep the site going thus far. Your support is sincerely appreciated.
