Members of the Radio & Television News Association of Southern California dined last night in Universal City and handed out this year's Golden Mike awards. Best news broadcast honors went to KNBC Channel 4 (60-minute newscast airing in the afternoon or evening) KMEX Channel 34 (30-minute newscast) and KTLA Channel 5 (daytime news broadcast). In radio, KNX (over 15 minutes) and KFI (under 15 minutes) won. The complete list of winners isn't up yet, but presumably it will be on the RTNA website soon.
