Coining a new category

Most reviews of the documentary Shortcut to Nirvana: Kumbh Mela, including the one by Kevin Crust in Friday's Times, mention the scenes where a man ties his penis to a stick that people then stand on. The Times takes it a step further, warning in the capsule box with the review that the film is unrated and alerting parents of potentially offensive content rarely seen:

Times guidelines: Nudity, penile stretching and twisting

Senior editors who didn't see the box before the Calendar section was printed were described as "speechless."
