The WGA board voted unanimously Monday night to let Written By go ahead and publish a roundtable discussion of guild politics—but only after a committee of non-editors removes "personally defamatory" statements. Variety reports the WGA also issued a statement denying it was censoring remarks that the board or some guild members might disagree with. Former board member Lynn Roth, however, told Variety the article would have been killed if she and others had not gone public.
