Zagat goes Val

In local politics, the Valley has a reputation for voting in higher numbers than many other areas of the city. I guess it's true in restaurant rating contests too. The Daily News has a story today that the latest Zagat survey ranks Sushi Nozawa in Studio City #1 in L.A. for food. Cafe Bizou in Sherman Oaks won as most popular restaurant in the city. The Zagats, as I understand it, are based on voting by customers (and, potentially, restaurant employees and the owners' friends). The new survey covers 1,744 restaurants in Southern California rated by nearly 7,000 voters.
