Blogging.la was just April Fooling when it reported on selling out to LA.com, but the serious word is that Gawker is getting close to trying out its blog-for-profit formula in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Matt Welch begins a new media column at Reason magazine, regular Paris visitor Amy Alkon doesn't like the LAT's effort at a blog from there, and Patterico gives up on the whole "LAT-Dog Trainer" thing (just fooling on that one).
