WSJ bureau chief leaving

Jonathan Friedland has headed up the Los Angeles bureau of the Wall Street Journal since April 2000. He just confirmed to L.A. Observed by email that he is leaving the Journal at the end of the month to work in the Spanish language media. He had previously been the WSJ's Mexico City bureau chief.
