The L.A. chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists is bringing together the top editors of La Opinión and Hoy next week for a panel on their battle for Spanish-language readers. In one corner is Gerardo Lopez, Executive Editor of the venerable La Opinión. In the other is Reynaldo Mena, Editor in Chief of the new competition. Adolfo Guzman Lopez of KPCC will moderate.
