Miscellany from the weekend:
* Matthew Heller, who writes the blog for Courthouse News Service, wrote the cover piece in the L.A. Times Magazine today on Utah becoming a haven for the dietary supplement trade.
* Political columnist Jill Stewart writes that she'll be on the new Dennis Miller Show this Tuesday and Wednesday nights. (6 p.m. and 9 p.m., CNBC)
* Cathy Seipp writes about the big crowd that attended the L.A. Press Club party last week for John Stossel's book.
* E-mail worms, etc: With the latest attack going strong, my e-mail filters are on high and I'm deleting unopened a lot that gets through. If you want to reach me, always fill in the subject line (blank subjects get automatically deleted) and make sure it doesn't sound remotely like spam. If you've emailed recently and I haven't responded, it may have been killed by mistake. Sorry, please try again. Also, if you receive email with an attachment that claims to be from me or L.A. Observed, it's bogus (unless you were expecting an invoice, but you know who you are). Thanks.
