They don't look Muslim

This morning's L.A. Times story on the Disney flap includes an interview with departing board members Roy E. Disney and Stanley Gold -- but does not have Michael Eisner calling them and Pixar chairman Steve Jobs "Shiite Muslims" for their strong dissident views. The Drudge Report cites sources who say Gold told the LAT reporters that Eisner used the term, but LAT business editor Rick Wartzman explained to Drudge late Monday that "'we didn't have solid enough grounds to put the statement in the newspaper." Hollywood may be fascinated by the Brouhaha in Burbank, but not Wall Street: On the first day of trading since the story broke, Disney stock went up eight cents.
