There he goes again

Boy, that Mickey Kaus has some nerve. He keeps violating the blogger code by actually leaving his computer to report stories. Couple of weeks ago he went to the gym to ask Mr. Gold about Arnold's gangbang boast, and last week drove to Beverly Hills to listen to a tape of Schwarzenegger's appearance on Johnny Carson. Both led to small but righteous exclusives. This weekend he left the Venice apartment again to chat with reporters at the Republican convention about the latest L.A. Times Poll. No scoop there, but it's interesting they don't buy the numbers that find Gray Davis in a dead heat, for various reasons (none of them funny business on the paper's part).

I see he has also updated a post from last Wednesday with a cryptic reference to "the LAT's long-awaited, much-promised, highly anticipated and mysteriously delayed major multi-reporter investigative piece" about Schwarzenegger. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell if he knows something or is speculating in that Kausian fashion.
