Schwarzenegger's No Hard Questions Tour plays the "John and Ken Show" today on KFI (AM 640), some blogs report, though KFI's website has no mention. He's supposed to be on for a full hour sometime between 3-7 p.m. Arnold's campaign also announced that he is skipping the national debate this week in Contra Costa, and will pass on all but one of the others. Meanwhile, the Californians for Schwarzenegger website is prominently featuring a column by Dan Weintraub critical of Bustamante's ethnic politics, but skips a later Weintraub post that knocks Arnold for evading the press:
On the Schwarzenegger site, you have to click through to the full text of the Weintraub posting on Bustamante to see that it is in fact by the Bee's opinion columnist and blogger, and not from the campaign. The full posting is reformatted and posted on the campaign website -- but at least it is labeled. The Davis site has taken down the unlabeled Peter King column we posted on last week, as well as all full-text reprints of media stories. The L.A. Times complained that it's a copyright violation to republish full text without permission. I wonder, did the Bee or Weintraub give Schwarzenegger the OK?
Later Tuesday on Life and Times on Channel 28 (7 p.m.), self-proclaimed Texas populist Jim Hightower talks about the recall and a new book.
Update 10:10 a.m.: Schwarzenegger is also scheduled to appear on the Michael Medved show on KRLA (870 AM), which airs from noon to 3 p.m.
