In a piece on the restoration of public murals in Los Angeles, the National Geographic website states the most famous one is Judy Baca's "The Great Wall," painted in the Tujunga Wash flood control channel in the Valley. I'm dubious, with all the freeway murals around town -- but not as dubious as I am about the locale given. Writer Stefan Lovgren places Baca's work in the "Tujunga canal." Just add water...
