Correction of the day

Let the other blogs be intrigued by the New York Times' "corrective article" on TVT Records and Steven Gottlieb. My favorite correction for today is this one, also in the NYT:

An article on July 4 about the placement of 50 obsolete New York subway cars in the ocean off Cape May, N.J., to enlarge an artificial reef misidentified the equipment used to push them off a barge. It was a diesel-powered hydraulic excavator with a backhoe attachment, not a steam shovel.
