That frightening morning in 1996 when the LAPD came under attack from bank robbers with assault rifles and body armor in North Hollywood produced incredibly raw live TV. Now it's a cable movie on the FX channel tonight, called 44 Minutes. Beth Shuster of the L.A. Times screened it with two of the cops who were there, and reports they give it an F for authenticity.
